Game changer. Definitely worth the price.
This may be TMI for some, but this is an underwear review so you asked for it. During winter I can wear these for 4-5 days before they even have a hint of smell to them. I’m not sure how long it would take for them to actually get offensive smelling because I’m not looking to push the envelope in regard to stinky underwear so I just wash them after 4-5 wears whether or not they need it. I understand if this sounds gross because I wouldn’t recommend wearing regular cotton underwear for more than one day, but if you’ve never worn wool underwear, then don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. One contributing factor here is that I don’t usually wear them overnight. They are very soft and breathable and would definitely be comfortable to sleep in, but I’ve never understood why people insist on wearing clothes while they’re sleeping. I’m also not sweating in them a lot because 1) I don’t normally sweat heavily and 2) when I run or work out I either wear lined running shorts or running tights. I’m also pretty uptight about personal hygiene so I’m sure that helps as well. I haven’t taken them camping yet but I would imagine that even under those circumstances I could still wear them continuously without showering for 2 days or so before they would start to smell stale. I have some Smartwool briefs that are also great but being a wool/synthetic blend they definitely pick up odors a lot quicker than these, presumably due to the 44% polyester in the blend.
