I wanted a natural material bike short to get away from plastics. These wool bike shorts are perfect. I wore them along with another brand merino wool bralette to drive without AC to get a freon recharge. It was 112 and I had to drive 37 miles to my mechanic. This combo kept me cool and levelheaded. So comfortable and breathable!! Even in 90 degrees, they don't feel hot. I wear them under dresses and they don't stick to the skirt. Nice high waist, hits around my belly button, and the top elastic doesn't cut in. They stay put, no riding up my skinny thighs like my shorter polyester spandex shorts do. I have a 38" inseam and they are only about 5" above my knees, so if you're shorter, they would be quite long.
