I've just worn it for the first time today under a pair of pants because I had a massage scheduled and wanted to be able to quickly strip down to socially acceptable layers. It's very comfortable, snug without digging in anywhere, and will allow me to do my bike commute in skirts when the weather cooperates.

I have substantial legs for a little person (5'2", 115 lb), and the Small fits just fine.

Thin but not see through and soft I washed them in cold water and air dried and they laundered very well. I bought this pair to wear under dresses so I went with the small based on others recommendations. They fit nicely and are very comfortable. If I were to wear these for running I might opt for the XS for a snugger fit. Also for running I prefer side pockets for my phone and key. I will be looking at making additional purchases from Wooly in the future.

I bought this bike short (size small) to take to Mexico for working out every day and having carry-on only luggage and not wanting to wash my clothing until returning home. It performed great! I worked out every day (cardio, weights and/or yoga) for 6 days straight, hung the bike shorts on a chair each day to dry out, and stuffed them into my suitcase into a packing cube. Well, they don't smell at all! I highly recommend this bike short for travelling. The waistband has a small elastic band though - hope it holds up.

I wore for the first time today under a skirt. Initially I thought they were scratchy but by the time I made it in the door of my office that sensation went away. Very comfortable! Wish they came in more colors. Can't wait to get out on the trail with them and test them for workouts!

Was looking for merino wool workout shorts that I could wear working out without stink worries. I chose these as they were longer and NOT compression shorts, thus very comfortable! They've worked out perfectly. The only negative is no pocket, but a minor inconvenience. Great purchase!
