Our Hipster Brief sits low on the hips with a thin elastic waistband for a modern, no-dig fit. Made with 95% merino wool for natural comfort!

Layer: Next To Skin

Care

Wash: Pop your Woolly in the machine on a cold cycle with similar colors. But be careful—fine merino fibers can snag on zippers, buckles, and Velcro. Avoid washing with jeans, jackets, backpacks, or any harsh fabrics.

Dry: Tumble dry on low or go au naturel and hang it up to dry.

Avoid Bleach: Skip the bleach—it’s not a friend to wool fibers.

No Iron Needed

Pilling: Wool may pill over time, but turning your garments inside out before washing can help slow this down.

Air Dry Option: For the air dry lovers out there, lay your wet Woolly on a towel, roll it up like a burrito to gently squeeze out extra moisture, then hang it up for a breezy air dry!

    Hipster

    I previously ordered the bikini briefs. According to other reviews, I went up a size to a large (medium should also fit, by the way). When ordering the Hipster, I opted for my typical size, which is a medium. They do fit better, but the waistband is completely different. The hipster band is very thin and honestly does not hold well. They do not fall down, but they are not snug on me. I ordered one pair in a large size to compare the two, but I already know it won't fit. So, unless you just need hipsters, I would stick with the bikini briefs for a better fit and better construction.

    great for travel

    These are thin and easy to hand wash, drying overnight so I only need to bring 3 pairs on a trip.

    The cons - after a three week trip they are fraying at seams. The three pairs are not consistent. One fits too loose.

    Conclusion - I'll use them for travel but they are too fragile for daily wear. For comparison, I've had my old Ibex ones for 10 + years (old Ibex), size medium, and they are finally wearing out. I bought the small woolly's.

    Not like they used to be

    I bought a pair of gray Hipsters a while ago that were great so wanted the new Tanin color. The design and elastic have changed from a fold over elastic to a single witdth . I wouldnt recommend the current designthey doent fit well. The elastic is not stretchy so doesnt feel like its staying up and the design is very low cut more like a T at the leg and not a V. I had a credit while waiting for a restock so i thought i would take a chance but these will have to go back.
