Fit & Features

Fit: Modern

Comfort Features: Flatlock seams, tagless interior, soft elastic jacquard. Merino / elastane construction for extra stretch, odor resistance, moisture wicking, itch free, 4-season comfort.

Layer: Next To Skin

Care

Wash: Pop your Woolly in the machine on a cold cycle with similar colors. But be careful—fine merino fibers can snag on zippers, buckles, and Velcro. Avoid washing with jeans, jackets, backpacks, or any harsh fabrics.

Dry: Tumble dry on low or go au naturel and hang it up to dry.

Avoid Bleach: Skip the bleach—it’s not a friend to wool fibers.

No Iron Needed

Pilling: Wool may pill over time, but turning your garments inside out before washing can help slow this down.

Air Dry Option: For the air dry lovers out there, lay your wet Woolly on a towel, roll it up like a burrito to gently squeeze out extra moisture, then hang it up for a breezy air dry!

One Year Guarantee

People who make the move to merino typically don't go back. We're so confident that our underwear is the best around that we'll back them for a full year. We want you to be happy! If for any reason your Woolly undies aren't top notch we'll replace them.

No fuss just comfy butts.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these boy shorts are incredibly soft, lightweight, and comfortable—many describe barely noticing they're wearing them. The breathable fabric keeps wearers dry and cool, especially during active pursuits like hiking and yoga. Most praise the flattering fit and lack of pinching around the waist and thighs. Common feedback mentions the leg edges and waistband occasionally rolling or bunching, particularly under tight clothing. Some note the thin fabric feels sheer in certain colors. A few experienced seam durability issues, though most find the quality excellent for the price. Many are repeat buyers, purchasing multiple pairs in different colors.

Took Some Trial and Error, but So Worth It!

It’s expensive for my humble budget, but it’s definitely the best underwear I’ve ever tried! I had to test quite a few sizes and styles (I almost gave up), but I finally found one I’ll keep coming back to, it’s just so comfortable. Unfortunately, one pair started to develop a run at the seam after only a few uses, but that happens... Customer service quickly replaced it for me. Just my two cents: try them right away and don’t wait too long like I did in the past, since there’s only a limited window you can get help if you have any issues.

    Disappointed after 1 year

I bought a couple pairs of wool underwear from about 3 different brands last year to try out. After a little over 1 year of normal use, unfortunately these are the worst performing and worst quality.

I noticed that these underwear are significantly thinner than others and what I thought would be just a nice lightweight, breathable option became the thing that caused the poor quality.

Just a couple of weeks ago I was pulling them up and my thumb went straight through the material. Not on the seam but straight through the side. This happened again the next week in another spot and it’s happened with two different pairs.

It’s disappointing to pay so much for a pair of underwear hoping for the quality material that made you choose them and then end up with a pair that can barely last a year.

As for the other benefits of wool, it performs about the same as other brands, nothing that stands out. The only other thing that bothered me about these in particular is that the edges rolled up constantly and gave you the worst panty line. I also attribute this to the thin material and lack of structure.

This is enough to make me not purchase these anymore and invest more in the other brands.
