I wear wool most of the year and have long lamented that almost all women’s wool “pants” advertised by the several excellent US based online wool-centric shops are skin tight leggings, joggers, sweatpants, or very wide legged in above-ankle height. My go-to every day pants have been Ibex’s Lizzie Tavern Pants (which are great), but I wanted a pair that was closer to “slacks.” Though the Longhaul Shop Pant initially reminded me of work pants a la Carhart, they are most definitely not. The fabric (lighter than I expected) is amazingly comfortable - mostly wool with a bit of stretch), and the neat, straight legged style fills a hole in the world of skin tight wool leggings or wide legged wool capri length pants. I am 5’10” and, using the size guide provided, ordered the size 14 in charcoal. They fit beautifully and can be dressed up or down (great for us retirees)! I am very pleased.
