I love this so much that I also bought one for my daughter-in-law. It is true tunic/lower hip length even on our tall frames. It's very cozy and the pockets are amazing. I am 5'9" 162lbs 36B with broad shoulders and bought a large. It's roomy enough to have a base layer underneath for the coldest of days but I could have also gone down a size.

The cowl is more comfortable than your favorite hoodie, while providing all the benefits of wool. I see other reviewers having problems with piling, I haven’t had this issue after half dozen washes. I was always told to turn wool inside out while washing ti avoid piling. I am highly considering buying another.

I lived in this for the first couple of weeks when I got it. I love the fit and the color. Unfortunately, it does pill up quickly.
