The shorts are very well made but they’d be much better in a lighter weave. I cannot speak to other factors since I haven’t been wearing them. I purchased them for a trip to Malaysia which I’m told is quite warm and sultry. Perhaps I’ll update after the trip. Additionally I am disappointed that they’re made in China. Since they’re pricey I’d wish they were made in the USA. Wish US companies were more inclined to provide jobs for us.

I love these - they're perfect to lounge around the house in, and they have pockets! They're very comfortable and soft.

I love to wear wool and I'm very happy that I found woolly. These are so soft! The old stereotype of scratchy wool is absolutely not true for these. I love the pockets, too, they are good for the phone. The elastic waist band is nice and wide

I bought these after reading the reviews about the sizing of the waist band being too tight. I went and ordered an xl, despite the fact that I normally wear a medium/large. They are perfect. I absolutely love them. Highly recommend these for everyday lounging and they look basic enough in black that I can wear them with any top even if I do decide to go out. With the xl sizing they aren’t super long, or super baggy. The pockets are comfortable and hang well. The waist band can be pulled up or down lower on my hips and still stays put because of the elastic and the sizing up. These are honestly the coolest most comfortable shorts I own and I’m considering buying another pair as soon as I can afford it. They are not sheer or see through. The pockets on the side are a win, however the back pocket is probably unnecessary. It’s cute, but won’t serve a purpose for me. I already know I’m going to wear these until the end of time so I’ll be using wool safe detergent to make them last. Worth every dollar.
