I’ve bought 12 pairs now. The first 6 were the ones with 5% spandex. I really like those ones. They hold their shape well and feel great.

The next ones were—accidentally—the 100% wool. I got 3 in navy, three in black. The navy ones came first, and I instantly realized something was off. They were a little saggy. They didn’t feel as nice to wear. I tried the other two pairs of navy, and they fit the same. Also, as expected, they got looser throughout the day and overnight.

When I noticed they were 100% wool and worried that the black ones on their way would be the same.

But the black 100% ones fit and wear basically the same way as the 95% ones that I liked so much.

So all that to say there’s some variety in how they fit. Which isn’t cool. But it might’ve just been a really weird fluke. Either way, I can’t say it’s enough to knock off a star. Maybe it’d be 4.5 stars if I could.

The other thing is not related to the underwear themselves and so I wouldn’t let it affect the rating. But I absolutely hate the wasteful packaging and shipping practices. For the first 6 pairs I mentioned—I bought them all on the same order, two grey, two black, two charcoal—each pair came in a separate shipping package, and apparently from different locations. I received 6 separate packages. Each was a thick white amazon bubble envelope. (I guess they contract with amazon to deliver, even though I purchased through the Wooly website.)
